CPR & First-Aid Certified

Our caregivers are all CPR & First-Aid certified. Oasis will provide you with the means to achieve such certifications, if you have not already completed them. Oasis caregivers are screened and trained in the most progressive aspects of child safety and care. 


After registering as a caregiver and completing the application process, you will be reviewed by a staffing specialist. If you meet our criteria, we will contact you for an in-person interview.

Background Check

Candidate Qualifications

Oasis Care is looking for women with experience as child and infant care providers who are interested in a flexible schedule and an opportunity to work with a team that supports your career goals.
Key Skills: Patience, physical stamina, social, instructional, communication and decision-making skills, ability to use scheduling and educational software Back-up care services requires a unique combination of caring and empathy, flexibility, reliability and of course compassion for your family and their children.


Our caregivers will provide three professional references as part of our application process. We'll contact your references by phone and ask them some questions about your work history.
  • Were they punctual, and did that continue to be the case the entire time they worked for you?
  • Did the children enjoy spending time with them?
  • Did this person work well independently; show initiative?
  • What were some areas in which they could improve?


Oasis care jobs may be anywhere in the city. It's important that you have a drivers license in good standing from the state of Texas, and have a licensed and insured vehicle in reliable condition that can get you back and forth to your positions safely, and on time.
You'll also need a phone that has GPS so you can map to your assigment locations, and have the ability to accept new work via text messages and emails to your phone.


At least 18 years old, a high school graduate, and 
of legal status to work in the United States.
Additionally, Oasis conducts background checks in the following areas:

  • Advanced Identity Research
  • Multi-Jurisdictional
  • State and County Criminal Level
  • Motor Vehicle Records
  • National Warrants
  • Civil restraining Orders


Education, CPR and First Aid certification
(or willing to renew prior to hire)

  • Health: CPR, First Aid, TB test.
  • Optional: Certification in ECE Hours - Child Development Associate (CDA) or work experience.
  • Education: Highschool diploma & work experience, or training as a child caregiver.
